Runners, walkers, and wheelchair users filled Barony Park in Nantwich for the latest edition of “Dabbers Dash”.
The event is a free, monthly community run, walk, and wheel in Nantwich aimed at getting people active in a social setting.
Participants have three fun and motivating options to complete the course:
• One Lap – “Find Your Feet” – ideal for gentle starts and relaxed vibes.
• Two Laps – “Find Your Flow” – steady pace, strong strides, and growing confidence.
• Three Laps – “Find Your Fire” – push your limits and raise your spirits!
Saturday’s event aimed to raise awareness for of National Carers Week 2025, local home car provider Home Instead, and the Men Walking and Talking weekly mental health walk for men launched six months ago.
The event begins at 9am one Saturday each month, starting at the corner of Barony Park across from the Cornthwaite Group John Deere dealership and finishing on Sandford Road.
Participants complete laps of the Barony at their own pace.
Pride flags mark the start and finish, symbolising a commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
Since launching in February 2022 as a virtual Parkrun alternative, Dabbers Dash has grown into a popular community event.
It also continues to campaign for a perimeter path around Barony Park, promoting a safe, traffic-free space for running, walking, wheeling, and cycling.
