
The first Nantwich Youth Arts Festival will take place this Saturday and Sunday July 5th and 6th.
It will include a series of free workshops, performances and celebrity guests.
Organised by town councillors, the festival aims to spotlight the artistic talents of young people.
There is a packed programme which will include local celebrities AJ (pictured) and Curtis Pritchard making a special appearance on Sunday.
They will be meeting fans, supporting young performers, and joining in the celebration of youth creativity.
Other Festival highlights include:
– Pottery Making with Clayzy-day Pottery studio
– Creative Arts Sessions
– Youth theatre, dance and spoken word workshops
– Acting for Film, TV and Commercials
– Special Effects Make up for Beginners
– Musical Theatre Choir

All workshops are free and will take place across various venues including Nantwich Civic Hall, the Methodist Church, St Mary’s Hall and venues across town.
An open-air cinema screening of “The Greatest Showman” will take place in Brookfield Park on Saturday night.
Bring a deck chair and a picnic and enjoy this wonderful feel good film.
Cllr Kim Jamson, Festival Organiser, said: “This new festival is a true community celebration, packed with opportunities to create, perform, and be inspired.
“We’ve got some incredible creatives offering us their time and skills and we hope our young people enjoy what we have planned for them.
“We’re also excited to welcome AJ and Curtis back to Nantwich to support our young talent.”
