Nantwich-based University Centre Reaseheath has been ranked among the best for teaching and student support in the National Student Survey (NSS).
It was named as one of the highest-performing land-based higher education providers in the country, with students praising the quality of teaching, academic support, and learning resources.
The NSS is an independent, UK-wide survey completed annually by final-year undergraduate students which spans seven themes.
In total, 93% of students rated the quality of teaching positively, 94% praised the institution’s learning resources, while 97% said the support they received was good.
That places Reaseheath at the top of its competitor group in the three areas.
The results also show year-on-year improvement across seven NSS themes, with the greatest gains seen in “teaching on my course”, “assessment and feedback”, and “learning resources”.

Compared to other land-based institutions, University Centre Reaseheath is now ranked top for Teaching, Academic Support, Learning Resources and Student Voice.
University Centre Reaseheath also out-performed the national average in six out of seven themes.
The institution’s response rate of 82.5% is above the national average of 71.5%.
Jane Nickisson, Dean of Higher Education and Assistant Principal at UCR, said: “These outstanding results show how hard our teams work to support and inspire our students.
“We’ve made a big commitment to improving the student experience, and it’s brilliant to see that reflected in the feedback from our learners.”
