Nantwich firm Hibberts Solicitors have appointed two rising stars to its trainee programme.
Larissa Solan and Joel Brookes (pictured) have had hands-on training at the company.
Larissa is currently training in the firm’s Agricultural Law Department, but discovered her passion for law in her teens.
She enjoyed early work experience including a placement at Hibberts and she founded a law club at school before pursuing a Law degree at the University of Birmingham, graduating with a 2:1.
She went on to achieve a Distinction in the LPC and Masters in Law, Business, and Management from the University of Law.
She said: “From day one, I’ve felt supported and trusted.
“The exposure to clients, court processes, and complex transactions has been invaluable.”
Larissa is due to qualify in April 2026.
Joel joined Hibberts in September 2024 and is currently training in the Employment Law Department, following an earlier seat in Agricultural Law.
Inspired by his brother’s legal studies, he earned a First-Class Law degree from the University of Manchester, where he also took on multiple leadership roles, including mentoring students and working with real clients.
He later completed his LLM LPC at BPP University with a Distinction.
Joel said: “Every day offers new learning opportunities, whether it’s drafting documents, meeting clients, or doing in-depth research.
“What makes Hibberts special is the collaborative environment and the chance to make a real difference in people’s lives.”
Stewart Bailey, Managing Partner at Hibberts, said: “We’re incredibly proud of Larissa and Joel.
“They represent the future of legal practice—dedicated, thoughtful, and driven to make a positive impact.
“Offering traineeships is so important to both our growth and the ability to support people who are passionate about a legal profession to receive practical experience whilst continuing their career progression.”
