Chamber of Commerce award winners 2024

South Cheshire Chamber of Commerce is set to shine the spotlight on its ‘Best in Business’ 2025.

The Chamber Business Awards, taking place at Crewe Hall on Friday November 14, will celebrate the enterprise, achievement and innovation of businesses of all sizes.

It will be the Chamber’s 28th annual event, recognising talented newcomers as well as major employers and growing firms which contribute to the area’s economic growth.

Nantwich fared well last year with Nantwich Museum scooping the Ambassador of the Year for helping to put the area on the map for excellence while Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa won Business of the Year (25 plus employees).

With the deadline for entries set for noon on September 19, organisers say now is the time to get in the running. Entry is straight-forward, free and offers a fantastic marketing opportunity for South Cheshire businesses of all sizes.

Awards will be handed out in 10 different categories:

– Ambassador of the Year
– Apprentice of the Year
– Business of the Year
– Contribution to the Community Business and Charity
– Employer of the Year
– Excellence in Collaboration
– Excellence in Customer Service
– International Trader of the Year
– Small Business of the Year
– Start-up Business of the Year

Chamber chief executive Paul Colman said: “Already there’s a great start to our annual awards and a generous response from companies and organisations which have come forward as sponsors.

“Now we urge businesses trading in South Cheshire to celebrate their success by entering the awards which offer fantastic prestige and publicity.”

Dominic Hibbert, Events & Marketing Coordinator, added: “The awards play an important role in celebrating achievement and inspiring others.

“Quite something they have been going for almost three decades now.

“The Chamber has been immensely proud to see its winners go from strength to strength over the years.”

Entrants are asked about their achievements, how they attract new business, what makes their company different and any obstacles or industry issues they have overcome.

Judges, drawn from sponsor organisations, will then announce their finalists on September 29.

For those who don’t make it onto the winners’ podium, there are Highly Commended certificates.

This year’s event has attracted two new sponsors, DJH business advisers in Nantwich and Cheshire East Council.

Others include Assurant, Bentley, Cheshire College South & West, Hibberts LLP, KPI Recruiting, Nantwich Town Football Club, Reaseheath College and South Cheshire Development Agency Limited.
