A home care organisation in Nantwich is to stage a collaborative event called the “Big Green Picnic” later this month.
The event organised by Right at Home will take place on Wednesday August 27 from 1.30pm at Mill House, Nantwich.
It aims to be a celebration of wellbeing and connection for clients and carers across the area.
It is being run in partnership with Dementia Adventure, with support from Mill House and Wishing Well, who will be providing picnic food for attendees.
It will bring together Right at Home South Cheshire clients and Mill House residents for an afternoon of fresh air, fun, and friendship.
Zoe Cooper, community engagement manager at Right at Home South Cheshire, said: “This is such a lovely example of what can happen when local organisations come together with a shared goal.
“We’re incredibly grateful to Adventure Dementia, Mill House and Wishing Well for making this event possible.
“It’s all about creating joyful, accessible moments for the people we support.”
Right at Home says the event is part of their ongoing commitment to meaningful community engagement and dementia-friendly activity in the South Cheshire area.
The team hopes it will inspire more local collaborations in the future.
