The popular Audlem Lass boat service is making waves once again – raising thousands of pounds for the RNLI.
The volunteer-run service is back running on Saturdays, Sundays, and Bank Holidays from 10am to 5pm.
It offers scenic boat trips along the Shropshire Union Canal, between Audlem’s Lock 15 near The Shroppie Fly pub and Overwater Marina, home to the popular Café at Bridge 80.
Boats depart Lock 15 at quarter past and quarter to the hour, and leave Overwater Marina on the hour and half past – perfect for a relaxing outing or a fun family adventure.
Suggested donations (one way) are £2 for adults, £1 for children, or £5 for a family – with dogs and pushchairs travelling free.
Every penny raised by the service goes towards supporting the RNLI’s vital work saving lives at sea.
Since its maiden voyage in Easter 2010, the Audlem Lass has carried more than 40,000 passengers, including plenty of happy dogs and families with pushchairs, and has raised more than £25,000 for lifesaving efforts at sea.

Also on the water, the Overwater Wheelyboat Services charity offers wheelchair-accessible trips along the canal for children and adults.
These specially designed outings run from April to September and are available by pre-booking.
