Nantwich Town made it two victories in two with a 3-1 win over Kidsgrove Athletic at the Swansway Stadium.
After a tentative start by both teams, the Dabbers exploded into action on 34 minutes.
Striker Callum Saunders continued his fine start to the season with a fine lob from 20 yards over the backtracking Kidsgrove goalkeeper.
It was Saunders’ third goal in the opening two league fixtures.
Then eight minutes later, Josh Williams opened his scoring account for the club and doubled Nantwich’s lead with a powerful header.
The hosts battled back though, and after the break they managed to pull one back on the hour mark through Andrew Morley.

It set up a nervy final 30 minutes before the hosts were able to seal the win thanks to a late strike by Alex Panter.
Kidsgrove joint manager and former Port Vale striker Tom Pope was red-carded after the final whistle after remonstrating with the officials.
The win puts Nantwich as the very early leaders in the Northern Premier League West Division on six points and a goal difference of +4.
