Fire crews from Nantwich and Crewe were called out to tackle a blaze in a bathroom at a house in Blakenhall.
The fire broke out at around 4.20pm on Friday (August 29) at a property on Mill Lane.
A Cheshire Fire Service spokesperson said: “Fire crews arrived at a detached bungalow which was heavily smoke-logged.
“All occupiers were quickly accounted for and are not believed to have been injured.
“Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus located a fire in the bathroom, with the most probable cause believed to be an electrical fault.
“A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire, and a high-pressure fan cleared the smoke.”
