People lined the streets of Nantwich today as the funeral procession for tragic young biker Josh Stockton passed through the town.
Bikers turned out in their hundreds to provide the hearse and family vehicles a touching escort – a sign of how popular 22-year-old Josh was.
They dressed in all manner of colours, fancy costumes and headgear, including odd socks, shorts, dressing gowns and beanies.
They left his mum Jen’s house near Malbank School in Nantwich and travelled along Waterlode, hundreds of powerful motorcycles revving their engines in tribute.
At the junction, they turned into High Street next to GOAT bar – the venue where Josh was about to start employment as a chef just days before the terrible accident which claimed his life.

The procession carried on around Swine Market and up Beam Street as hundreds of people emerged from shops and stopped to watch, taking photos and paying their own respects.
The procession also included Josh’s favourite car, a Ford GT, which his mum said “he took everyone to go and see”.
From there it made its way into Crewe and arrived at Crewe Crematorium for a funeral service at 3.30pm.
Many members of the “Rebel Ryderz” biker family, which Josh was a member of, were there as part of the escort.
All cars and bikes had gathered on the car park at the main entrance of Malbank High school before heading out on the procession.

The escort was marshalled at lights and roundabouts by his Rebels bike family so it could arrive at the Crematorium without it breaking up.
Following the service, everyone was invited back to Nantwich Football ground for a further celebration of Joshua’s life.
Josh died after a collision with another vehicle while on his bike on Crewe Road in Willaston on September 3.
A shrine of flowers, photos and other tributes has grown by a tree where the accident happened in his memory.
And there was a special ride out a week later in his name as hundreds of bikers came together to pay respects at The Peacock pub in Willaston.

My son Oliver tried desperately to get there but his managers declined his day off. I’m deeply saddened by your loss.
From his grandfather great send off thank you everyone
