Bryony Page gold medal World Championships

Nantwich’s Olympic star Bryony Page has landed another gong after winning her sixth British title.

The former Brine Leas student, originally from Wrenbury, delivered to excellent routines at the British Championships in Telford at the weekend.

Page, currently a member of Poole Gymnastics Trampoline Club, was fresh off a successful World Cup series in Varna and Cottbus.

She defended her Senior Women’s British title which she also won in 2013, 2014, 2015 and 2018.

Page, now aged 34, was joined on the podium by teammate Jessica Clarke who took home silver, and Sarah Gallacher of Sparta Trampoline Club who took the bronze.

Bryony said: “I won my first British title in 2008 in the age group competition (when I was 17) and my first senior title in 2013.

“Over a decade since then, I won my sixth Senior Ladies British Title. It’s been a hell of a journey and I still get nervous, just a little differently every year!

“Well done to all competitors, finalists, medallists and new British champions.

“It’s great to see the best of British trampolining. Super proud of my teammates and coaches, and even more so the respect and camaraderie between everyone competing.”

Page began her trampolining journey as a youngster aged nine, training at the Wingate Centre in Wrenbury where she grew up.

She attended Brine Leas and later Malbank, before studying at University of Sheffield.

Since then she went to win three Olympic medals – silver at Rio in 2016, a bronze at Tokyo in 2020, and finally winning gold in Paris in 2024.
