A married couple from Nantwich have proved the ultimate power duo after scooping major titles at the world’s best known bodybuilding contest.
Tim Rosiek and Vaida Bartulyte Rosiek made history on the global bodybuilding stage, achieving success at the 76th National Amateur Bodybuilding Association Mr & Miss Universe Championships.
The (NABBA) Universe has long been the proving ground for legends such as Arnold Schwarzenegger and Frank Zane.
Now Tim, 42, and Vaida, 39, have added their names to that elite legacy.
After 22 years of dedication to the sport, Tim achieved his lifelong dream claiming the Class 2 Mr Universe Title.
It completes a career triple of British Champion, World Champion, and now Universe Champion.

Competing on the same day, his wife Vaida took third place in the Miss Universe Bikini Over 35 class.
Tim, who runs a personal training studio near Nantwich, said: “This has been my dream since I first stepped on stage.
“To finally stand where my heroes once did and bring that title home, is beyond words.
“To have my wife there with me on the same day, sharing the glory, really was a dream come true.
“It’s proof that partnership — in life and in training — is our greatest strength.”

Vaida had never exercised before meeting Tim just a few years ago but has since carved out her own incredible path in record time.
Vaida, a member of South Cheshire Harriers Running Club, took a year off from running to train with Tim for the Universe.
And the decision paid off as she won the Mornflake-sponsored North West Championships, claimed the British Title in June, and in her debut season on the international stage, secured third place honours in the Miss Universe Bikini Over 35 class.
She said: “Five years ago, I couldn’t have imagined being on a bodybuilding stage.
“This journey has completely changed my life and to share it with my husband makes it even more special.”
Founded in 1948, the NABBA Universe Championships is one of the longest-running and most respected bodybuilding contests in the world.
The Mr & Miss Universe Championships, staged in Gateshead, drew competitors from around the world.
A spokesman for the Championships said: “Together, Tim and Vaida have become an inspiring example of what can be achieved through passion, partnership, and perseverance — both in marriage and in sport.
“Their shared success marks a historic moment not only for them personally but also for British bodybuilding.”
