The South Cheshire National Trust Association will hold its next meeting on Wednesday October 29th in the Atherton and Associates Suite at Nantwich Football Stadium.
Geoffrey Scargill will be giving a talk on the life of composer Edward Elgar, including playing some recorded exerts of his work. It starts at 7.30pm.
An AGM will be held before the talk including a chance for members to vote where this year’s group donation should go, from a shortlist of nominated National Trust projects.
This year £2,500 will go to the selected property from a shortlist of four nominated projects.
Both members and non-members are welcome to attend the meeting. Admission £3.50 for members, £5 for non-members.
An association spokesperson said: “This is a great time to join our Association.
“Membership is now open to anyone who shares an interest in all that we do.
“National Trust membership is no longer a condition of joining the group, although we do think it is a great idea to do so.
“So whether you are an active or lapsed member or are discovering us for the first time do come and join us.”
