Three paramedics were left in hospital after their ambulance crashed on a rural road near Church Minshull.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the “serious collision” which happened on Eardswick Lane.

It happened at around 8.30pm on Friday (November 28th) when the ambulance was believed to have been responding to an emergency call on blue lights.

Three North West Ambulance staff members were injured as a result of the collision and taken to Royal Stoke Hospital for treatment.

Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to contact Cheshire Police.

Detective Sergeant Iain Condliffe, of the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “Enquiries in relation to the collision are ongoing and we are doing all we can to establish what took place.

“As part of our ongoing enquiries we’re keen to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, or anyone with any video footage which may aid our investigation.”
