Barony Park in Nantwich was full of festive cheer when runners, walkers and families with pushchairs came together for a special Christmas edition of Dabbers Dash.
The free monthly run, walk and wheel again proved getting active is even better when it’s shared with the community.
Participants completed up to 3.5 laps of the park at their own pace with the emphasis on fun, fitness and togetherness.
This month’s Dash teamed up with YMCA Cheshire for a Santa Dash Special.
Organisers and participants donned Santa hats, antlers and wristbands, transforming Barony Park into a sea of Christmas colours, smiles and laughter.
YMCA Cheshire works to improve the quality of life for young people and communities across the region.
It aims to tackle homelessness and providing housing, learning, family support and youth services.

Dabbers Dash founder and event organiser Paul McIntyre said: “What a brilliant Dabbers Dash this weekend.
“A huge thank you to YMCA Cheshire for partnering with us and helping to bring the Christmas spirit — providing Santa hats, antlers and wristbands while also raising awareness of the great work they do locally.
“Special thanks to Tammi from YMCA for her energy and support on the morning.
“We had around 40 people join us, spanning a wide range of ages and abilities, which is exactly what Dabbers Dash is all about — turning up, moving in a way that works for you, and feeling part of something positive.
“Thank you to everyone who came along, supported, volunteered, or simply helped spread the word this year. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.”
The next Dabbers Dash takes place on Saturday January 24th 2026, supporting ERDINGER Alkoholfrei MOVE Against Cancer Charity with 5KYW (5k your way), encouraging anyone affected by cancer to keep moving and boost their health and wellbeing.
