Bosses of the new Kingsbourne Academy in Nantwich are now recruiting for a new head of school.
The primary school is currently being built close to Nantwich Town’s ground on the Kingsbourne estate and is set to open its doors to pupils in September 2026.
Now the North West Academies Trust, which will run the school, is advertising for the school’s first Head of School, marking another milestone in the project.
The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the culture, curriculum and community of the new school from its earliest days.
Applications for the role are open until January 21st, with an appointment expected later in the spring.

Kingsbourne Academy will be the first new primary school to be built in Cheshire East since the council was formed in 2009, making it a landmark development for the town.
Demand for places at the new school is already strong, and parents are being reminded to apply in good time if they wish their child to start in Reception in September 2026.
Applications must be made via the Cheshire East Council admissions portal, with the deadline set for January 15th.
