Residents across Nantwich are invited to Right at Home South Cheshire’s free CPR awareness sessions in Nantwich next month in support of British Heart Foundation Heart Month.
The RevivR sessions will be Mondays throughout February, from 1pm to 4pm at The Old Penny Bank on Welsh Row in Nantwich.
They aim to give members of the community the confidence and knowledge to act quickly if someone suffers a cardiac arrest.
The sessions have returned following the success of last year’s programme, which attracted more than 100 local residents.
Right at Home hope to build on that momentum and encourage even more people to take part in this vital community initiative.
Delivered in short, practical formats, the sessions teach the basics of CPR through the RevivR service and how to respond in an emergency.

No previous experience is needed, and the training is suitable for anyone, from carers and family members to business owners, students and members of the public.
A Right at Home spokesperson said: “Every minute without CPR reduces a person’s chance of survival by around 10%.
“By taking just a short amount of time to learn the technique, participants could one day make the difference between life and death.”
The sessions are completely free to attend, but places are limited and booking is recommended.
