Nantwich Police have issued a warning to residents amid a spate of reported burglaries and attempted break-ins in the area.

The latest incidents happened in both the town as well as more rural areas, including Willaston and Bridgemere.

Three suspects tried to gain entry into a house on Victoria Mill Drive, Willaston on February 5th between 2.30-3.15am.

A day earlier, a house on Dingle Lane in Bridgemere was broken into, along with attached wooden sheds, containing farming equipment.

The owner found one of the shed doors had been broken open and then noticed that the main property had also been broken into with a number of items stolen from within the address.

It happened between February 1st and 4th.

A third incident happened at a house on Barony Road in Nantwich when an unknown offender broke into two sheds at a property by breaking off the padlocks and stealing equipment.

This break-in happened at some point between February 2nd and 9th.

A Nantwich Police spokesperson said: “We want our local community to feel empowered that they know how to keep their property as secure as possible.”
