Police are probing a crash after a car careered off a road in Shavington and ploughed through several garden fences and hedges.
The vehicle also hit three parked cars in the accident which happened on Newcastle Road, near the Esso garage, at around 1am on Saturday (Feb 28th).
Witnesses say the vehicle involved was a VW Scirocco.
One said: “The impact and distress caused to the affected families has been significant, and they are now dealing with the aftermath of what has been a very upsetting incident.”
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “At 1.17am on Saturday 28 February police received reports of a collision in Newcastle Road, Shavington.
“The collision involved one vehicle which had left the road and collided with three parked cars and entered several gardens.
“No arrests have been made.”
