Runners, walkers and wheelers are being invited to Barony Park in Nantwich on Saturday 21st March for the next instalment of Dabbers Dash.
The free, monthly community event gets underway at 9am, starting next to the Barony Park tennis courts and finishing on Sandford Road.
March’s event will shine a spotlight on Neurodiversity Celebration Week (16th–20th March 2026), a worldwide initiative challenging stereotypes and misconceptions surrounding neurological differences.
The Dash will also promote ‘Being True To You’, a welcoming social group for neurodivergent women founded by Diane Woolrich.
Meeting weekly at Regents Park on London Road, the group offers board games, open conversation and wellbeing workshops in a supportive setting.
Dabbers Dash founder and event organiser Paul McIntyre said: “Dabbers Dash is about bringing the community together in a way that works for everyone.
“Whether you want to run, walk, wheel or simply enjoy being outdoors, you’ll be welcomed with open arms.
“Supporting Neurodiversity Celebration Week is especially important to us — we want people to feel seen, valued and celebrated for who they are.”
Dabbers Dash began in 2022 as a virtual alternative to Parkrun, promoting active travel while campaigning for a perimeter path around Barony Park.
Since then, it has grown into a much-loved fixture on Nantwich’s community calendar.
It is open to all ages and abilities, welcoming people on foot as well as those with pushchairs and in wheelchairs. Everyone is encouraged to take part at their own pace.
Participants can complete up to 3.5 laps of the park — around 5km — or simply enjoy a shorter stroll, jog or wheel around the scenic green space.
