live comedy stand up civic hall

Live comedy returns to Nantwich Civic Hall next week as four top acts will perform at the Very Best in Stand Up.

The original line-up had included Scott Bennett as compere but he has had to cancel.

Promoters have subbed in the hilarious Dave Twentyman and he will be welcoming each performer and delivering his own down-to-earth comedy in between the acts on Friday May 1st.

First on stage is high-energy, observational comedian back Stephen Grant.

The host of the award-winning Krater Comedy Club is a whirlwind of sharp wit and manic intelligence.

He is one of the most experienced and hard-working comics on the circuit and when not on stage, he’s writing for shows like ‘Mock The Week’ and ‘Stand Up For The Week’.

Peter Brush is the middle act, making his Nantwich debut.

His slight and oft awkward stage presence belies a razor-sharp comedic mind and his crafted metaphors and distinctive one-liners have made him a regular at the major clubs up and down the country.

And headline act is the straight-talking, unapologetic, and hilarious Lindsey Santoro.

She first performed two years ago, taking command of the stage at the Civic and delivered a whirlwind 25 minutes of comedy that had everyone in stitches.

Hailing from Birmingham, she has taken the comedy world by storm with her candid tales of daily life.

Tickets are on sale now, priced at £12. You can pick them up online by following either of the ticket links below, or by calling Nantwich Civic Hall on 01270 628633.
