
A Nantwich man has been charged after a car crashed into parked vehicles and flipped over on its roof.
Police say a 32-year-old man was arrested and has since been charged with two counts of assaulting a police officer, one count of obstructing a constable in the execution of their duty and one count of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control.
Police and fire crews were called to the incident on Davenport Avenue at around 8.30pm on Saturday (May 16th).
A man suspected of being the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, was arrested around 20 minutes later.
He has also been released under investigation in relation to a further seven offences, including drink driving, failing to stop following a road traffic collision and driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.
Cheshire Police said their enquiries remain ongoing.
