Families are invited to climb aboard for a day of miniature railway rides, refreshments and fundraising when the Peacock Railway in Nantwich hosts a charity open day.
The miniature railway, behind The Peacock Inn on Crewe Road, will host the event on Sunday 31st May from 11am until 4pm.
All fundraising efforts will be supporting Autism Inclusive, a Crewe-based charity which supports autistic and neurodiverse children, young people, adults and their families.
Visitors can enjoy rides along the 5-inch gauge track, which stretches for nearly a quarter of a mile around the scenic site.
For £1 per person, passengers can experience two laps behind a selection of miniature steam and battery-electric locomotives.
As well as the railway rides, there will be a bake sale, tombola and refreshments from the clubhouse, with tea, coffee and soft drinks available.
With free parking and free entry, organisers say the event promises to be an accessible and affordable day out for all ages while raising vital funds for a local cause.
Every penny raised during the event will help Autism Inclusive continue providing support and services for neurodiverse people and their families across the community.
