
Fire crews tackled a blaze on open land off a lane in Hankelow near Nantwich.
The incident happened at around 6.30pm on Friday (May 29th) at an address off Longhill Lane.
One fire engine and the rapid response rescue unit from Nantwich attended the scene.
A Cheshire Fire spokesperson said: “Firefighters were called after an unattended fire in a brazier had spread, affecting around 10 x 10 metres of land.
“Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire and checked the area with a thermal imaging camera.”
