
Two teenagers from Crewe have been arrested in the middle of a suspected break-in at a Nantwich property.
The incident happened earlier today (June 9) after police received calls of a burglary on progress.
Police also seized knives and other weapons were found.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “Two juveniles have been arrested after reports of a Burglary in progress today.
“At roughly 1pm today we received an emergency call reporting intruders inside a building in Nantwich, potentially causing damage.
“Response patrol officers made to the location and two males were detained inside.
“Both teenagers from the Crewe area were arrested on suspicion of burglary, and weapons including knives were located and forensically seized.”
