Pop sensation Sophie Ellis-Bextor is heading to Nantwich for a special launch of her new album, Perimenopop.
She will be visiting Applestump Records in the town on Monday 15th September, from 1 to 2pm.
Fans will have the chance to meet Sophie in person and get their records signed at the Barker Street store.
Perimenopop is her much-anticipated eighth studio album, described as a “vibrant celebration of self-expression and confidence”.
It features tracks like Freedom of the Night, Relentless Love, and Vertigo.
The album marks a triumphant return to her signature dance-pop sound.
Ellis-Bextor rose to fame in the early 2000s with disco-pop classics like Murder on the Dancefloor and the chart-topping Groovejet (If This Ain’t Love).
She’s also a mum of five, a podcast host, memoirist, and regular face on British television.
Applestump Records founder Steve Cook said: “One thing that I am really proud about on this is the company we’re keeping on the tour – such as HMV on London’s Oxford Street.
“Seeing Applestump up there with the biggest record shop in the country and Nantwich alongside London, Birmingham, Manchester etc really feels like we’re doing our bit to put our town on the map. It’s genuinely really exciting.
