
Fire crews were called out to a tractor on fire on a rural lane in Hankelow, near Nantwich.
The farm vehicle went up in smoke on Longhill Lane at around 12.15pm today (October 31).
One fire engine from Audlem, and one of Cheshire Fire and Rescue’s four weekday fire engines were called out to the incident.
A spokesperson said: “Firefighters were called to a small tractor fire in Hankelow.
“The fire was out on arrival, and a hose reel jet was used to dampen down the area.
“A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots.”
