Such misogyny A woman that falls in is a drunk, a bloke that falls in is a legend!!

  2. A big thank you to all those involved

  3. what makes you think she was drunk,? article does not elude to that, could possibly be running away from a misogynist, rather like you!

  4. No Sympathy Whatsoever, you might like to reserve judgement till you have heard the reason why she fell in the river, it could be due to a number of reasons, once again you get scant details or follow ups from any of these publications I wonder if they get bored to bother

  5. Great that the woman was rescued but not 3 feet deep ?

    • Over the years a lot of people have drowned in the river in the area around the mill.

If she’d have gone in above the mill race she wouldn’t have survived.

In flood conditions people have also drowned below the mill race mainly due to the debris under the surface.

      It looks benign but isn’t.

  6. No Sympathy Whatsoever says:

Presumably, this was a drunk who simply didn’t have a clue where she was and fell in.
