
Fire crews tackled a van fire after the vehicle burst into flames on a busy road in Nantwich.
The incident happened at around 7.30am yesterday (Saturday February 21st) on Chester Road in Acton, close to the Bluestone Lights.
One fire engine and the Rapid Response Rescue Unit from Nantwich were called to the scene.
A Cheshire Fire spokesperson said: “Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish a van well alight in Nantwich.
“A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots.”
No one was injured in the incident.
