The tree came down on the Chester Road to Acton close to the Nantwich Canal Centre at around 10pm.

Fire crews tackled a van fire after the vehicle burst into flames on a busy road in Nantwich.
The incident happened at around 7.30am yesterday (Saturday February 21st) on Chester Road in Acton, close to the Bluestone Lights.

Police appeal after woman injured in dog incident in Nantwich
A woman suffered a broken arm in an incident with a dog by the canal in Acton, Nantwich.
Police are appealing for witnesses following the incident on the canal towpath near to the marina bridge.

Fire crews were called out to tackle a blaze involving wooden pallets at a property in Acton near Nantwich last night (August 2).
The incident happened at around 11pm at a property on Drake Lane and crews from Nantwich attended.

The first walk is on Sunday (January 5) will take participants on a leisurely four-mile route.

Three Nantwich primary schools took part in a football tournament to promote inclusion and participation.
Millfields Primary School, Acton Primary Academy and Calveley Primary Academy were among eight schools across Cheshire taking part at the event staged at Nantwich Town FC.
