Nantwich Town have appointed a number of people to bolster manager’s Luke Goddard’s backroom staff ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Jack Turner will fill an assistant role working alongside Goddard and assistant manager Marc Feighery.

Turner enjoyed success at Crewe FC as manager before successful stints as assistant manager to Goddard at Whitchurch Alport, Alsager and recently Northwich Victoria.

Jack said: “I’m delighted to be joining Nantwich Town alongside Luke and Marc, who I’ve worked with for a number of years.

“It’s my local club and one I’ve had close connections with over the years, so it’s a role I’m incredibly proud to take on.

“I’m looking forward to working with everyone at the club, building on the strong foundations already in place and helping drive things forward as we aim to get the club progressing again.”

Kevin Street also returns to the Swansway Stadium as part of the coaching team.

The former Dabbers manager and player adds to the local links and experience among backroom staff.

And George Edge-Robinson completes the support staff in analysis.

He has worked in the background since January and has now made the move permanent alongside completing his degree.

He will focus on analysis as well as helping the staff around training and matchdays.

Manager Goddard said: “The team around us is just as important as recruiting players.

“Having worked with Marc before we have such a good relationship and trust.

“We discussed on enhancing the staff with our own people so it was a no brainer to be able to fetch Jack and Streety back to the club.

“I’m very big on structure and organisation to eliminate excuses so essentially having staff who stick to their roles will be another strength in progressing forward.

“Young George adds to that also and the large majority are all voluntary for the good of the club.

“Fans will soon gain a good connection with all the staff as well as the playing group, with proper football and local people.”
