Nantwich Civic Hall - July 2023 (1)

Two classic rock tribute acts will roll into Nantwich next month to help raise funds for local charities.

“Rock The Civic 4” will feature tributes to legendary bands Status Quo and Wishbone Ash at Nantwich Civic Hall on Friday 7th August.

Headlining the event are Quo Connection, who recreate the unmistakable sound of 1970s Status Quo.

Formed in 2023 from the ashes of John Coghlan’s Quo, the band has earned recognition for delivering the authentic sound and energy of the original line-up, performing classic hits alongside much-loved album tracks in a high-octane live show.

Supporting them are Blind Eye, the UK’s only tribute band dedicated to the music of Wishbone Ash.

Passionate about recreating the band’s distinctive twin-guitar sound, Blind Eye have spent more than two years assembling the perfect line-up to deliver a powerful live performance that captures the musicianship and spirit of one of Britain’s most influential rock bands.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan of Status Quo and Wishbone Ash or simply enjoy great live music, this is a night not to be missed.

The event will raise funds for the Mayor of Nantwich’s chosen charities Jabbin Dabber Boxing Club, Cheshire Young Carers Organisation, and RSPCA Stapeley Grange Wildlife Centre.

All proceeds from the evening will go towards the three worthwhile local causes.

Doors open at 7.30pm, with tickets priced at £20 (plus a 5% booking fee).
