Heler community fund - donation to Circus Starr

Nantwich firm Heler Foods is backing two local causes as part of its Community Fund.

The Hatherton-based company will provide vital funding to Circus Starr and Audlem and District Community Action (ADCA), two charities making a significant difference across Cheshire.

The latest awards means Heler Foods Community Fund has donated more than £7,000 in 2026.

Circus Starr will use the funding to help provide accessibility facilities at its Nantwich performances, including British Sign Language interpretation and accessible toilets, ensuring children with disabilities and their families can enjoy a fully inclusive circus experience.

ADCA will use its funding to support food provision for its coffee clubs and lunch clubs, helping reduce loneliness and isolation amongst older and vulnerable residents across rural Cheshire.

The sessions provide a nutritious meal and also valuable companionship, friendship and an opportunity to stay connected within their local community.

Sarah Griffith, People and Transformation Director at Heler Foods, said: “We’re incredibly proud to support organisations that improve lives in the communities we serve.

“Circus Starr and ADCA both provide invaluable support, creating opportunities for people to connect, thrive and feel included.

“Reaching more than £7,000 in Community Fund donations this year is a fantastic milestone, and we’re delighted to play a small part in helping local charities continue their outstanding work.”

The Heler Foods Community Fund supports charities, schools and community organisations across the regions where the business operates, investing in projects that improve health, wellbeing and community life.
