Open air theatre company Chapterhouse are to stage a performance in Nantwich as part of a national UK tour.
The production this year is The Jungle Book, and it will be staged on the lawn of Reaseheath Hall on Wednesday August 27.
The Rudyard Kipling classic has been adapted by award-winning Laura Turner and is being watched by thousands of families at outdoor venues around the country.
All the favourite animal characters are brought to life to create a musical show for children of all ages.
Chapterhouse producer Richard Main: “We have barely had time to finish touring with all the marvellous creatures from The Wind in the Willows and now we embarking on a completely new adventure with bears and panthers in the wonderful stories of The Jungle Book.
“There is something so magical about nature and how we relate to it that makes seeing Baloo, Ka and Bageera spring to life incredibly thrilling.
“This show, my Jungle Book, is funny and touching.
“It is musical and in places a little bit silly but at the heart of it is the incredible stories written for different age but which have remained absolutely timeless.”
The show starts at 3pm at Reaseheath College.
