Pride in the Park held at Queens Park in Crewe

Young and old enjoyed the free Pride in the Park event at Queens Park in Crewe yesterday (June 29).

The event was held with the aim of bringing communities together, supporting diversity and celebrating all aspects of the LGBT+ community.

There was a parade, live entertainment, information stalls, a children’s play area, face painting and refreshment stalls.

Pride in the Park was organised by Cheshire East Council.

Future 2019 Pride Events in Cheshire East are Macclesfield Pride (Saturday July 6), Nantwich Pride (Saturday July 13) and Congleton Pride (Saturday July 20).
