Charles Brazier - fundraising booklet of photos

A Graphic design student from Willaston has produced a fund-raising booklet of local photographs, writes Jonathan White.

Charles Brazier, 20, is a student on a Graphic Communication course at Birmingham City University.

He is currently back home in the village and has taken numerous photographs in Willaston during his daily exercise walks over several weeks under UK lockdown due to Coronavirus.

He has published 20 of his photographs into a fund-raising 24-page “Lockdown Wanders” booklet.

The booklet costs £7 and he hopes to raise £300 for two local charities.

The money raised will go to Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity, which supports patients, their families, and staff at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and to Nantwich Foodbank, a charity that provides emergency food for families and individuals in times of crisis.

Lockdown Wanders - front of booklet (1)Charles said: “Because of having to come home due to lockdown I have had to finish this university year at home.

“This means I have had plenty of time on my hands to practice what I love, my photography and graphic design.

“This got me thinking of how I could utilise my skills for a good cause in this situation.

“I then came up with the idea of this photography book in a hope to help bring some joy to the community.

“I have been completely blown away by the response and have almost sold out with only three copies of the book left!

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank anyone who has purchased one, thank you so much!”
