Stapeley families are invited to join in the parish’s first annual Christmas Carol concert later this month.
The event will be held at the Cronkinson Farm pub (pictured), off Peter Destapleigh Way, from 6.30pm onwards on Wednesday December 21.
Residents will be joined by the excellent Nantwich and District Brass Band, and there will be mulled wine, spiced mince pies and sausage rolls on offer in the pub to warm everyone up!
The event has been organised by Stapeley and District Parish Council.
A spokeswoman said: “Bring your family and friends for the perfect start to your Christmas celebrations.”
The inaugural Carol Service took place at the Cronkinson’s Farm pub http://www.cronkinsonsfarmpub.co.uk/ , Stapeley, Nantwich earlier this evening (Wed 21st Dec 2011). The Service, organised by the Stapeley and District Parish Council – http://www.stapeleyparishcouncil.gov.uk/ , was accompanied by the Nantwich and District Concert Band and local residents and other attendees were encouraged to join in with their best singing voices. Over 100 people sang songs including O come all ye Faithfull, The First Noel, Silent Night, Away in a Manger and Hark the Herald. Following the Service, complementary mulled wine, warm spiced orange, mince pies and sausage rolls were served inside the pub.
