Wistaston & District Flower Club held a successful coffee morning raising more than £350. The event also had several stalls selling jams, chutneys and cakes and as well as plants, White Elephant and a Tombola.
Almost £1,500 was raised at Wistaston Holly Fair in Wells Green Methodist Church. The event, which attracted hundreds of people, included a raffle to win a hamper of fair trade goods.
More than 170 people attended the Service of Remembrance at Wistaston Memorial Hall. Residents, parish councillors, members of the Royal British Legion, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers from the Wistaston 35th SWC Scout Group all turned out in force.
The big Christmas Lights switch-on in Nantwich is planned for December 3. And a host of other activities are being lined up for the town square over the next six weeks.
