Leighton Hospital’s trust chairman Dennis Dunn has been appointed Deputy Lieutenant of Cheshire.

Mr Dunn has been chairman at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 2014.

The family of a missing Nantwich man with dementia have made an emotional appeal for his return.

Richard Tomlinson and Kate Tomlinson, son and granddaughter of 83-year-old Roy Tomlinson, have issued a statement as the search for him continues.

Missing dementia sufferer Roy Tomlinson disappeared from a privately-run Nantwich care home, it has emerged.

The 83-year-old walked out of Brookfield House private residential home at 5pm yesterday – and has not been seen since.

Police divers are searching Nantwich lake today as dozens of residents joined search and rescue teams to help find missing dementia sufferer Roy Tomlinson.

The 83-year-old was reported missing in the Shrewbridge Road area of Nantwich.
