The 3 Counties Connected Community Rail Partnership (CRP) is seeking a new chairperson as Nicola Said comes to the end of her three-year term leading the partnership.
Nicola has supported the strategic growth of the partnership in connecting communities like Nantwich and other Cheshire and Shropshire towns to their railway.
A Nantwich woman who volunteers to help maintain the town’s railway station has ben shortlisted for an award.
Gina Haigh has been nominated in the “Outstanding Volunteer Contribution” category of the national Community Railway Awards.
Wrenbury & District Model Railway Club will hold their free to enter Open Doors event on July 5-6.
It will take place in the Village Hall, on Cholmondeley Road, Wrenbury, from 7pm to 9pm on July 5 and 10am to 4.30pm on July 6.
