Nantwich MP Naismith votes in favour of assisted dying bill

Crewe & Nantwich MP Connor Naismith says he voted for the controversial new Assisted Dying Bill because people “deserve a choice at the end of their lives”.

MPs today narrowly backed the bill legalising assisted dying in England and Wales by 23 votes.

Crewe & Nantwich MP Connor Naismith to vote for new “Assisted Dying” bill

Crewe & Nantwich MP Connor Naismith has confirmed he will be voting in favour of the Assisted Dying Private Members Bill (Terminally Ill Adults (End of Life) Bill).

The details of the bill have now been published and MPs have been told they can vote how they wish as “it is a matter of conscience”.
