Nantwich Film Club returns to Nantwich Civic Hall on Monday February 9, with Monsieur Lazhar.
The Canadian French language drama, directed by Philippe Falardeau, tells the story of a recent emigrant of Algeria who takes over a Canadian classroom after a teacher’s tragic death.
Nantwich Town Council’s programme of town centre Saturday Street Entertainment features Tom Seals tomorrow (August 10). Tom, who studied at Paul McCartney’s world famous and prestigious LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts), will be performing from 11am until 2pm.
Nantwich Town Council is to host a “Dance Showcase” on the town square. It’s the latest part of the council’s programme of Saturday Street Entertainment taking place through the summer.
