The family of tragic South Cheshire runner John Lawton is to donate funds to rescue teams who tried to find him. John, 62, went missing while competing in the gruelling 35km Taygetos challenge in Greece in April this year.
Nine volunteers from Cheshire Search & Rescue (SAR) have returned to Greece to renew the hunt for missing marathon runner John Lawton. John, from Alsager, went missing while taking part in the Taygetos Challenge near Kalamata on April 8 this year.
Cheshire Search and Rescue volunteers are entering their final day in the hunt for missing marathon runner John Lawton. Fifteen members of the Cheshire SAR team have been out in Greece for five days to boost the search for the 62-year-old from Alsager.
