Local charity Motherwell Cheshire have bumped up their resources to support people struggling with the cost-of-living crisis this Christmas.
They held a virtual Christmas Fair to offer affordable gift items for those struggling to get to the shops or who cannot afford high street prices.
South Cheshire employer Bakkavor has teamed up with Chance Changing Lives to provide meals for the community amid the cost-of-living crisis.
Bakkavor Pizza and Bread Crewe has provided around 6,500 flatbreads to four food redistribution partner charities – Chance Changing Lives, The Port Vale Hubb, The Salvation Army Stoke and Irons Foods Banks.

People in crisis across Cheshire East and others needing help are turning to local libraries for support and advice.
Some vulnerable people have picked up food and others have received items such as duvets and hot water bottles after seeking help in Cheshire East libraries, according to a council document.
RSPCA were called about more than 407 equine incidents in Cheshire last year, sparking fears that more sick horses will be dumped during the current pandemic.
The charity is warning a financial recession could plunge the country into a second equine crisis which has already led to thousands of dumped and dying horses and crippled welfare charities.
