Council Officers who do not take action in a reasonable time, on reported hazards in their area, like potholes and diseased trees, should go to jail if those hazards result in severe injury or death.

As the days draw in and the clocks go back, the darker evenings create more hazards on our roads for animals.
Sadly, more animals are hit by cars during the winter months so we’re asking drivers to be cautious when they’re out and about.
A risk assessment is a process of identifying hazards in a space so that steps can be taken to prevent yourself and others from being hurt or injured.
It is vital to everyone’s safety that such assessments be carried out – especially in the workplace, where employers have a duty of care to their employees and anyone else who could potentially be at risk.
