New “Calm Bags” are now being provided in 16 Everybody’s leisure centres across Cheshire East, including Nantwich.

Last November, I robustly challenged the Labour-led administration’s plans to cut four “shared leisure centres” aligned with four of our high schools.
After further public consultation, I attended Monday’s E&C Committee meeting where it must be said, important progress had been made.

Everybody Sport and Recreation has launched a pilot personal training scheme in three leisure centres in Cheshire East, including Shavington.
It’s part of a wider plan to roll out to further centres by January 2016.
