Nantwich Town have agreed to allow midfielder Matt Bell to transfer his registration to Leek Town with immediate effect.

‘Belly’ as he is known as, scored 31 times in 199 appearances since making his debut in the 6-3 league victory against Stamford back in August 2015.

Nantwich Town were on the wrong end of a strong second half comeback from Shaw Lane who won 3-2 at the Weaver Stadium despite trailing 2-0.

The Dabbers had gone into the break with a two-goal lead thanks to a fine individual effort from Jordan Cole and a Matt Bell goal just before half time.
