Youngsters at a Nantwich primary school will welcome their local MP to help leave a mark in history. Crewe & Nantwich MP Edward Timpson will also be at Millfields Primary and Nursery to celebrate the school’s latest Ofsted report.
Nantwich primary schools are celebrating sporting success after winning through to the final of the Sportshall Athletics Competition. Teams of year 5 and 6 pupils from Crewe and Nantwich schools battled it out in a series of heats.
Youngsters across Nantwich are entering into the Olympic spirit – by performing their very own Torch Relay. The Nantwich Education Partnership (NEP) bought an Olympic Torch so it could be passed from school to school by nominated pupils.
