Nantwich Museum has announced the launch of Nantwich Cooks – a recipe book prepared as part of its Nantwich Eats exhibition. There are more than 35 recipes, some dating back to the 1920s, which have been provided by local retailers and friends of the museum.
Nantwich Museum is to host a talk called “Foodbank – a sign of the times” by Barbara Phillips on Wednesday October 30. The talk, starting at 3pm, is the final one of the series accompanying the Nantwich Eats exhibition at the Pillory Street venue.
A talk on the 1oo years of Chatwins is taking place at Nantwich Museum next month. Paul Rooney will be hosting the talk at the Pillory Street venue on Wednesday October 2.
Nantwich Museum is to stage a public talk “Who Killed the High Street” this weekend. Keith Lawrence will be giving the talk which looks at today’s high street and how different it is from the past.
Nantwich Museum has announced a series of talks to run alongside its current exhibition, Nantwich Eats. The first takes place on Saturday August 24 and is called A Celebration of Salt, by Graham Dodd.
