Supporters of the One in Eleven Appeal are in Nantwich this week to tell people about its vital fundraising work. They’ll be in the Nantwich branch of Yorkshire Building Society, High Street, to outline what the appeal hopes to achieve and its work so far.
Supermarket staff in Nantwich helped spook a few customers and raise money for their local hospital. Workers at Sainsbury’s, on Middlewich Road, had fun in the store by paying £1 each to wear Halloween fancy dress.
The One in Eleven Appeal has received a massive £1.5 million donation from the Frank Hockenhull Trust. It’s the biggest single donation ever received by Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust’s (MCHFT) charitable fund.
